Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The article has to be anonymous in word format. No name, no institution should be mentionned. The figures have to be included in the paper.
  • The article has not been submitted to another journal or published in another journal. I guarantee that this Contribution is original and unpublished
  • The article includes (not necessary for Cybergeo Conversation) : titles, keywords, abstracts in English and French and in the original language of the article.
  • The figures are anonymized and also joined in attached files
  • If the Contribution contains extracts of texts or illustrations borrowed from other works, the Author will deposit in its submission file as additional files all the necessary reproduction authorizations for publication purposes.
  • I guarantee that my Contribution does not contain anything that falls under the law and that the Journal is not liable.
  • I respect copyrights and cite all my sources.
  • I read and accept the ethical charter of Cybergeo
  • Concerning the Data Papers and Model Papers, please read previously Cybergeo Guidelines for Data Papers and Model Papers
  • Concerning the Data Papers, I confirm that I uploaded anonymously the data related to the article on Cybergeo Dataverse
  • Whether I have used generative AI and technologies used by AI. I indicate in a note at the beginning of my submission file which tools I used and for what purpose.
  • I confirm that I read the Instructions for authors.
  • For Data Papers et les Model Papers, I indicate in the metadata of my submission, in the field SOURCE the url of the deposit of my data (next step).
  • By submitting, you confirm that you have checked the validity of all your bibliographic references
  • I list all the co-authors with their e-mail addresses when submitting.

Author Guidelines

Accepted articles are then published on-line and can be consulted without restriction on the server. Although the electronic medium is best suited to short articles, for more substantial articles the journal does accept texts of 20-30 pages.

  • Title in the original language, in English and in French

  • Summaries and key-words in the original language, in English and in French

  • Graphics and maps (preferably GIF format or failing this JPG)
